Leeds Beckett University Exhibition at the Corn Exchange

Design students from Leeds Beckett University are exhibiting their work in a month-long exhibition that will reimagine the lower ground floor of the Corn Exchange.

Members of the public are invited to explore the space, which will house seating and table arrangements by various different students over the course of a month following a launch event on Thursday March 15th at 6pm.

Students were asked to choose furniture that would respond to the environment of the Corn Exchange and create a space that reflects the diverse community served by the building. During 2018, the lower ground level of the Corn Exchange will become the home of a new eating and gathering space called the Kitchen Yard, with a focus on independent food offerings. The designs reflect the inclusive nature of Kitchen Yard and the playful vision for the new space.

The exhibition, and launch event, is open to all and will run until 23rd of April 2018.
