Whats your name and what do you do here at the Corn Exchange?

My name is Stephen Roper, and I'm a designer maker at Simcha Gallery, on the Balcony level.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I'm a jeweller making free flowing silver and gold designs inspired by natural textures and forms. My collections are showcased in store, and I am also busy making unique Wedding and Engagement ring commissions.

What is your history with the building?

We opened our shop here 2 ½ years ago, and are thrilled with the success we are achieving here.

What is your favourite thing about working at the Corn Exchange?

Love working in such a beautiful environment, and with an eclectic mix of small independent businesses. We all have the same goal, to flourish, and are supportive of each other.

Tell us about your best day out in Leeds. Where do you go? What do you do?

Tea in Waterstones, amongst all the lovely books. Wanderings around town, looking up to take in the architecture. Have you seen the Sea Serpent above French Connection on Vicar Lane?
