Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m 38 and live in Chapel Allerton. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 22 years and have worked in several roles around the world until returning to Leeds to open my own business. Oh, and I’m a masssive Leeds United fan!
What is your history with the building?
I first started visiting the Corn Exchange as a teenager around 1994. The shopping centre was unique, vibrant and really had lots to offer a young person! I’d shop in Ark, Henry Ford and various others. I also visited several dance nights here around 96/97 - Kaos, Soak and Up yer Ronson!
What is your favourite thing about working at the Corn Exchange?
The natural light all day, the unique roof let’s in lots of pleasant light and it feels like you could be working outdoors!
Tell us about your best day out in Leeds. Where do you go? What do you do?
Best day out in Leeds would be a trip to see the mighty Leeds United win at Elland Road followed by a few drinks and dinner at one of our great restaurants; Pintura, Home and Zucco are among my favourites.
