Tenant Profile: Rebecca Mason-Harding, Twit-Woo
Who are you, and what do you do here at the Corn Exchange?
I'm Rebecca, and I run Twit-Woo Vintage Boutique
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a tea-swigging, lindy-hopping, ukulele-plucking, short lass from Wakefield with a love of all things old and historical. Married to Damien who ‘works’ as Twit-Woo’s Sunday Boy and General Maintenance Manager.
What is your history with the building?
I discovered the Corn Exchange back in the days when I was a goth-lite student and I worked for a short while at The Condom Shop. Twit-Woo Vintage Boutique has been in the Corn Exchange since December 2015.
What is your favourite thing about working at the Corn Exchange?
Having my shop in one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Leeds is pretty special. My favourite thing is the customers; I get to meet lots really interesting, funny and quirky people - and sometimes they buy stuff!
Tell us about your best day out in Leeds. Where do you go? What do you do?
We enjoy a mooch around the Art Gallery, if we’re feeling flush dinner at Kendalls Bistro and a trip to the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Where can we follow you online?
